Before entering toilet with left foot
اَللَّهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُث وَالْخَبائث
O Allah , I seek Your protection from the male and female Devil.
After leaving toilet with right foot
غُفْرَانَكَ اَلْحَمْدُ لله الَّذيْ اَذْهَبَ عَنّيْ اْلاَذى
وَعَاقَانِيْ
I seek Your pardon. Praise be to Allah who removed from me discomfort and gave me relief.
When thanking someone
جَزَاكَ اللهُ خَيْرًا
May Allah reward you well.
For increase in knowledge
رَبِّ زِذْنِيْ علْمًا
O My Lord, Increase me in knowledge.
Before Wudu
بِسْمِ اللهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لله
(I commence Wudhu), in the name of Allah the Great and all praise be to Allah (for keeping me faithful) in the Deen (religion) of Islam.
After Wudu
اَللُّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِيْ مِنَ التَّوَّاِيْنَ وَاجْعَلْنِيْ مِنَ
الْمُتَطَهِّريْنَ
O Allah , make me of the repenters and make me of the purified.
When entering masjid
اَللّْهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِيْ اَبْوَابَ رَحْمَتكَ
O Allah , open for me the doors of Your mercy.
When leaving masjid
اَللْهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْنَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ
O Allah , verily I seek from You, Your bounty.
After drinking water
اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِيْ سَقَانَا عَذْبًا فُرَاتَام
بِرَحْمَتِهِ وَلَمْ يَجْعَلْهُ ملْحًا أُجَاجًام
بذُنُوْبنَا
All praise is due to Allah who gave us fresh sweet water to drink out of His Mercy and did not make it bitter due to our wrongdoings.
After drinking milk
اَللُّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيْهِ وَزِدْنَا مِنْهُ
O Allah , grant us blessings and abundance
in it (the milk).
When wearing clothes
اَلْحَمْدُ الله الَّذيْ كَسَانيْ هذَا وَرَزَقَنيْه منْ
غَيْرِ حَوْلِ مِّنِّىْ وَلَاَ قُوَّةَ
All praise is due to Allah who has clothed me with these garments and given them to me without any effort and help from my side.
When looking into the mirror
اَللَّهُمَّ اَنْتَ حَسَّنْتَ خَلْقِيْ فَحَسِّنْ خُلُقِيْ
O Allah , You have beautified my body, so do beautify my character.
When entering the home
اللَّهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَسْئَلُكَ خَيْرَ الْمَوْلَجِ وَخَيْرَ
الْمَخْرَجِ بِسْمِ اللهِ وَلَجْنَا وَبِسْمِ اللهِ خَرَجْنَا
وَعَلَى اللهِ رَبِنَا تَوَكَّلْنَا
O Allah , I ask of You the blessings of entering the home and the blessing of leaving. In the name of Allah, we leave and enter the home and upon Allah, our Sustainer, do we rely and depend.
When leaving home
بِسْمِ اللهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى الله لاَحَوْلَ
وَلَاَقُوَّةَ الاَّ بالله
(I leave) with the name of Allah ; I rely on Allah; there is no power to do any good, nor any power to abstain from evil except with the help of Allah .
When it rains
اللُّهُمَّ صَيِبًا تَافِعًا
O Allah , do send upon us beneficial rain.
On hearing good news
اَلْحَمْدُ لله مَاشَاءَ اللهُ
All praise be to Allah. Just as Allah willed.
When a loss occurs
انَّا لله وَ انَّا الَيْه رَاجعُوْنَ
Surely we belong to Allah and to Him is our return.
When in bodily pain
Place your hand on the affected area and say:
بِسْمِ اللهِ
(Three Times)
اَعُوْذُ بالله وَقُدْرَته منْ شَرّ مَا اَجدُ وَأُحَاذرُ
(Seven times)
I seek protection in Allah and His might against the evil of what I feel and fear.
When in difficulty
حَسْبُنَا اللهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيْلُ وَعَلَى اللهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا
Allah is sufficient for us and He is the Best Helper. And upon Allah do we rely.
Dua after azan
اَللّهُمَّ رَبَّ هذه الدَّعْوَة التَّامَّة وَالصَّلوة
الْقَائمَة أت مُحَمَّدَن الْوَسيْلَةَ وَالْفَضيْلَةَ وَابْعَثْهُ
مَقَامًا مَّحْمُوْدَ الَّذيْ وَعَدْتَهُ إنَّكَ لاَ تُخْلفُ
الْميْعَادَ
O Allah! Lord of this perfect call and everlasting prayer, grant our master Muhammad the Waseelah and the virtue, and raise him to that praised position which You have promised him. Verily You do not go against Your promise. (Waseelah: a place in Jannah)
When getting into a vehicle
بِسْمِ الله اَلْحَمْدُ للهِ سُبْحَانَ الَّذِيْ سَخَّرَلَنَا
هذَاوَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرنيْنَ وَأنَّا إلى رَبْنَا لَمُتْقَلبُوْنَ
All praise be to Allah , Glory be to Allah who has put this (vehicle) under our control though we were unable to control it. Surely, to our Sustainer, we to return.
